Why you should visit the Philippines?

Hi I am Carolyn, a citizen here in the Philippines. If I had a lot of money, I am going to visit other beautiful destinations here in my own country, the Philippines.

So I am giving you top 5 reasons why you should visit the Philippines...

I am promoting the Philippines, not because I am a citizen here.. but because this country has so much potential.. I can say it's one of the virgin island among all the virgin..

So I will start with #5..

#5 Hospitable people...

Try to visit the Philippines, you'll be amazed how people here are so hospitable. A place were you will meet helpful, courteous, and loving people. And one more, humorous people. That's why we have this beautiful slogan, "It's more fun in the Philippines." Even if Filipinos were having difficulties with their lives. They still have time to enjoy their day, they make time to be by having  bonding with friends or family and by staying outdoors.

My tip for you, is, try to visit the provinces which have beautiful attractions... Like Baguio, the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Why I gave that tip? Because people in the province, were very far hospitable from the ones located in the city. You will feel the innocence of the place and of course, of the people..

#4 Beautiful ladies...

Not just beautiful ladies, but also the brainy ones.. Philippines are known for having beautiful and unique Filipinas.. not because of prostitution. Only here in the Philippines, that has Maria Clara classic ladies, the one with class and elegance.

Specially for the Filipinas who live in the provinces of the Philippines, you will be shocked. Why? Because, you'll thought they're just an ordinary girl who live in the province, but because they're the one whose conservative, they believe in self-preservation, and they often belong to a respectable family. So don't you underestimate ladies from provinces..

I guess, if you are a guy, you will invest yourself and time to a deserving lady. Right?

So single guys, you know where to go if you are looking for you're soulmate.

But I also want you to know, there's also a lot beautiful ladies which resides in the city. Specially in the city of Manila. Like literally, a lot. That's why I am telling there is a lot of beautiful ladies here in Philippines.

#3 You will love the culture 

Yes, you will definitely love the culture here in the Philippines. Try to stay here for like 1 month or more, I am telling you, you will inhibit our culture. Specially, in provinces. I can say is wow. Visit the Philippines if there is a festival or a special religious gathering. I am telling you, even if you are a foreigner or a Filipino kid who grew up abroad, you will be persuade by our culture.

#2 Beautiful Attractions and home to native products

Whether it be man-made or natural attractions, I am proud of the beautiful destinations here in the Philippines. Thousands of virgin islands scattered within the Philippine area. Fresh aired provinces with different local products which they boast.

If you are into bringing home unique pasalubong or souvenir, Philippines is a great place for you. We are a great home for local native products. Hand-woven bags, dresses made of Pineapple product; name it-we have it.

As I have said earlier, Philippines has a lot of potential. Specially, if you will just give it a chance. Visit the Philippines. Even for 3 to 4 days. It will be a big help to our economy. I know, I haven't explained my top 5-that well. Because there is no perfect word to describe the beauty of our county. I am so overwhelmed. If only I had a lot of money. That's why you, I am helping you, I know you gotta money. Why don't you spend it into our country? In return, Philippines will give you unforgettable beautiful experience that is worth twice the money you spent.

Carbtrim Experience Part 2

So guys I just wanna update you all regarding my Carbtrim Experience..

Recently, i have told you guys that i have tried the Carbtrim Capsule... (Which i bought at St. Joseph drug store but you can also buy at any Mercury drugstores nationwide).

I find the Carbtrim capsule very effective... Together with regular exercise. It helped me lose excess weight or unwanted weight. Which then, this capsule helped me maintain my target weight which i have already achieved with the help of Carbtrim.

I have stopped using the Carbtrim Capsule now. But, i can still feel the effect. Before, i was weighing 52kgs. But now i weighed, 50 kgs. I have stopped for 2 or 3 months now. But still, i have maintained my weight.

Two thumbs for you, Carbtrim!

Late Update: Trophy Wife Movie (2014)

Sorry guys! It was a very late update.

So I have already watched the Trophy Wife Movie which starred Christine Reyes, Derek Ramsay, John Estrada, and Heart Evangelista.

So the movie, has a really good twist, specially at the ending part of the movie.

I hope you guys have watched it. I guess its a must watch movie. It is something new in the movie industry.

I'll give you a hint guys, there's a masochist in the movie. There's also a drug addict because of something she wanted to escape from. It's really thrilling.

I just wanted to discourage kids out there. Do not watch it. You're not ready for it. I'm telling you.

So to all adults out there. This is a must watch.


Two thumbs up for this movie anyway for the uniqueness.

First Impression: Trophy Wife

So there is this movie which can be viewed on July 30, 2014. The Trophy Wife, a movie under Viva Films.

So I am going to talk about my first impression with regards to this latest movie of Viva Films. The cast were consists of Derek Ramsay, Heart Evangelista, Christine Reyes, and John Estrada.

One thing that I am sure with this movie is that, the story of Trophy Wife was very much different from No Other Woman (2011) and from When the Love is Gone (2013). I am sure of it because based on the Trailer, there is a twist that we should catch from the movie.

What I mean is why is the character of Christine Reyes was so mad of Derek's? Why does she even used Heart to help her for her revenge? What is the basis? Where did all the anger came from? That's what I wanted to know from the movie, and how the ending of the movie will looked like. Could they give justice to the movie? Or they will just leave the viewers hanging and plotting their own ending for the movie?

There is also this much awaited part of the movie. Of course, the hot scenes... Here's a peek...

It takes a good actor and actress to film such a hot scene. Specially they had a past relationship. They were ex-lovers in real life, right? Based on Christine's recent interview about the movie, she told the press that it was quite awkward to shoot that scene with his ex-boyfriend. 

But what's the fuss, right? Derek's a good kisser. Christine might even enjoy it, secretly. Just kidding! 

Meanwhile, on the safe side, Heart Evangelista says no no to hot and daring scenes. So Christine had to do all the daring parts.  But there is no problem about it!

I guess, this movie will become the talk of the town after its first showing. Its going to trend again. Specially the hot lines - the characters had to throw to each other. Brace yourselves, Facebook users! Trophy Wife memes are coming!

My Mom wanted to watch this movie. She even invited me to view this movie with her in theater. But I guess, I can't. I just can't. I'm sure it is going to be awkward for me - watching all that hot scenes with my Mom! AWKWARD! I guess I am going to watch with my boyfriend. HAHAHA! Kidding!

Yay or Nay: Revlon Matte Lipstick

I've been using Revlon Matte Lipstick since I was in college... I actually love it... For the fact that I bought two shades of it...

First I bought the Cocoa Craving shade... The shade was a little bit brownish yet it also has a little bit orange color in it. It was good for daily use. Its not like I'm going to a bar or in a party. It is a neutral color. It is perfect specially if you want to look simple yet classy, I recommend you to use this shade...

I enjoyed using this shade... I even bought two pieces of this shade, and then after, I decided to buy other shade from Revlon's Matte Lipstick... 

So I went to SM Mall in Rosales, Pangasinan, and then I visited a Revlon stall... after some time of trying swatches of different shades... I've picked the shade of Mauve it Over...

At first, I was in regret when I bought the shade of Mauve it Over. Because I thought it was very light and dull for my skin tone. I thought it didn't match my skin tone... But then I realized that it was just me, who is always fond of dark and bold shades when it comes to lipsticks...

Mauve it Over was perfect for daily use... This shade was so close to being nude but it has a little bit pink shade in it.

OVERALL:

PROS

• I love all the shades of Revlon's Matte Lipstick.
• Very pigmented.
• Good for daily use.
• You don't need a lip balm to support your lips. The matte lipstick alone is enough.

CONS

• Quite pricy for being a drug store cosmetic... Price is around 350 - 450 pesos...
• Darker shades last longer than the light ones.
• Can dry your lips sometimes.
• The shade "sometimes" transfers or stains your front tooth. But it can be wipe out when seen.

RATING

• 7.5/10

ALL IN ALL:

It was fun having this product, but I will try other more products in the market. Still YAY!

Soft Matte Lipstick

So lately, I've been addicted to this lippies... the NYX Soft Matte Lipstick... At first, I was hesitating to try this lippie, for the reason that it was new to our country, Philippines. I was scared to try out other brand. But I was convinced by the ambiance of their boutique, it was so pleasant. I visited their branch at SM North Edsa.

So i bought the shade of Istanbul. The shade was like a light pink, which was very good for daily use. You can use it when you are visiting a friend. attending a church mass, daily office works, and more...

So that is the packaging. The body was made of plastic and also the black one at the top.

So after my addiction to Istanbul shade, I immediately purchased the San Paulo shade. But this time I bought it online. Because I heard that it is much more cheaper when you bought it online. Which is true!

So I bought it at: Chic Cosmetics Manila

I just don't know if they ship their products worldwide... 

After you sent them your proof of payment, they immediately ship the item. Then, taa-daa, you'll receive the product the next day! Isn't great?

HAHAHA! That's my brief review about that online shop which is based here in the Philippines.

So I prefer this shade more. Aside for the fact that, I like darker shades. It suites my morena skintone. It looks more natural to my skintone. It also last longer, even if I drink water or juices. Amazing, because it was still there. Maybe, the shade will fade a little bit, but it will still look good. Because it will appear more natural on your lips. As if you got a pink lips or a little bit dark pink lips naturally! :)

So now I'm giving you the PRO'S AND CONS of NYX Soft Matte Lipstick.

PROS:

• It can last for like 4-8 hours.
• Good for daily use.
• It doesn't dry your lips when you use lip balm after applying your Soft Matte Lipstick.
• I prefer the darker shades than the light ones. For the fact that, it is in a velvet texture.
• Very affordable. Specially when you bought it online.
• Very handy for its size.
• Convenient to use because it has a doe foot applicator.

CONS:

• Lighter shades seem to fade easily. Specially after you drink water.
• It can dry your lips if you don't apply lip balm after.
• You need a lip balm to sustain this lipstick and also your lips.
• In the Philippines, it is very expensive. For the  fact that, it is an imported product.
• The doe foot applicator isn't good for hygiene conscious ladies.

ALL IN ALL:

I still love this product. I will definitely buy this again. Again, I prefer the darker shades because it lasts longer. I can say that this is the cheaper version of MAC Cosmetics. This product is a very good substitute to expensive MAC Cosmetics.

Yay or Nay: Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo

So lately, my father bought me a cellphone which is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo... And so far I like it!

One thing that I could note about this cellphone, is that, it has a long battery life. I could recharge it again after 3 days. Aside from other android cellphones that I have, I can say that this one is the best.
