Sinigang na Gulay Recipe

Guys, are you craving for some veggies? This recipe is very much enjoyed during rainy season.





 Here is my recipe of SINIGANG NA GULAY!

MAKES 4 SERVINGS!





INGREDIENTS:

3 cups
Water
720 ml

2 pcs
Tomatoes
seeded, cut into quarters
75 g

1 pc
Onion
cut into quarters
40 g

2 pcs
Gabi
peeled, cut into quarters
140 g

1 pack
Mama Sita's Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix
18 g

1 pc
Radish
peeled, cut diagonally 2" thick
100 g

1 small piece
Puso ng Saging (Banana Heart)
washed, sliced diagonally 2" thick
100 g

1 pc
Eggplant
washed, trimmed, cut diagonally 2" thick
75 g

2 pcs
Green Chili (Siling Haba)
Patis (Fish Sauce) to taste
16 g

1 bundle
Green leafy vegetables:
kangkong, mustasa (mustard greens) or talbos ng kamote (sweet potato sprouts)
100 g







PROCEDURE:

1. In a saucepan, bring water to boil. Drop in tomato, onion, and gabi. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.

2. Blend in Mama Sita's Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix. Boil for 2 minutes.

3. Add radish, puso ng saging, eggplant, and sili. Bring to a boil and cook util tender.

4. Season with patis to taste.

5. Add green leafy vegetable and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

6. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot.
